About Pedro Cobián Sala,

Mr. Cobián is an Audit Manager at HLB Puerto Rico and has over 10 years of experience in audit, assurance, and accounting services since 2015. He has led teams and projects since 2021, providing services to clients in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, auto dealerships, professional services, employee benefit plans (EBPs), private equity funds, fuel distributors, construction, broadcasting, and utilities.

His experience includes managing financial statement audits, applying current auditing and accounting standards, and developing a strong understanding of clients’ operations through close collaboration with management and internal teams. In addition, he has private industry experience in the full accounting cycle, financial statement analysis, forecasting, and budget preparation.

Mr. Cobián also leads the Training Committee within the audit department, supporting the development of training programs, preparing materials, and coordinating sessions for staff growth. He is actively involved in implementing best practices, improving efficiency and quality, and supporting compliance with the firm’s System of Quality Management standards (SQMS 1 and SQMS 2).
